Plano virtual comedy fest

Last year was not an easy year for comedy in general, let alone comedy festivals.

In an effort to make people laugh in the midst of a global pandemic, without compromising the safety of our audiences. With these goals in mind, we converted our festival to an entirely virtual format, conducting all of these shows over Zoom.

We offered discounted submissions for all comedians off of our usual submission rates, as well as offering hardship sponsorships for comedians who had lost work so they could still submit.

Producing a comedy festival during a pandemic was difficult and required a level of concentration and focus and technical precision that pushed us as a team to our limits but we are so proud of what we accomplished and we were thrilled to hear positive reviews from our loyal attendees.
